coreythestory Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 Whenever I place ground units into an upcoming multiplayer mission to be hosted on a dedicated server, they never seem to spawn in. I was able to pull the below list which is basically a list of the ground units I had placed. Does anybody have a fix that actually works for this? Ive tried a bunch of things including running the repair tool, i have no mods (vanilla install), tried in both stable then upgraded to OB. Definitely pulling my hair out over this one. I have also tried the Nevada weapons test mission for the a-10a. As soon as i start the mission, i get a message that all the targets have been destoyed without me even getting a round off. I am currently trying a full repair as a quick repair hasn't worked.

OK, so the A-10A Nevada weapons test mission comes as part of the FC3 pack but here it is anyway A-10A - Nevada - Weapon Practice.miz

That one is almost for sure due to some current bugs with triggers. Should be fixed after next patch.

I have also tried the Sitting Ducks Mission for the A-10C and the Shilka was destroyed as i started the mission leaving the trucks. Seems like an issue with air defence units and armour, i may be wrong here but there is a pattern i have noticed.

Ive had the issue across multiple missions and I will find one of the missions that had that happen in. Its whenever it get loaded into a MP mission they dont show. Not sure how much help it is. I figured a workaround for my current project but it doesnt involve moving ground units. Operation Jasmine Control (Syria Campaign part 2) v1.0.miz

Does this mean they don't show in F10 view? Or does this mean that you flew over their position and could not find them? ---

It turns out the my UH-60 mod was the reason for the conflict. I removed all the mods I had and then replaced them in turn until the problem occurred again, a shame but reality I suppose, mods will always have an effect on the sim unless the mod builder update it. Yea, i always set it there when i upload our community missions and probably didnt set it back before I sent it. When set to all i still cant see my convoys and cannot change my view to them. Also, my participants could not find them along their preprogrammed paths. I also dont have any mods installed at the moment and no mods in the mission.
