Flappie Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 (edited) Thank you. Here are my recommendations to find the culprit(s) (remember, the less running software, the better): For a start, if you dont stream, disable NVIDIA Share. To go further, I don't recommend using GeForce Experience at all. I don't have it on my computer. If you don't need it, uninstall it. You just need the NVIDIA driver. You have both Pimax and Oculus services running. You have to make a choice. You said you are using a Pimax gear, so maybe you should uninstall the Oculus software if you don't use them (OVRRedir.exe, OVRServer_x64.exe, OVRServiceLauncher.exe). Disable ASROCK A-Tuning and Phantom Gaming Tuning services (or uninstall them). Avoid self-proclaimed "gaming" software like a plague. All they do is get in the way. You have 5 different Nahimic services running on your PC. I have just one (NahimicService.exe). Try and disable the other 4 (Nahimic3, NahimicNotifySys, NahimicSvc64 and NahimiSvc3 (sic)). Disable your 3 Alienware services if you have no use for them. Now, fly in DCS and see if it keeps crashing. Edited March 27, 2024 by Flappie 1 ---
Brzi_Joe Posted March 31, 2024 Author Posted March 31, 2024 Flappie, I wanted to do all those things, but I was playing DCS without problems last 2-3 days. If crashes happen again, I will carry this on, if not - I will just leave all as it is. Thankx anyway! 1
Solution Brzi_Joe Posted August 1, 2024 Author Solution Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) Hi guys, I do not have any more crashes. After all these steps from this tread, my system was still lacking stability. But several months later I got new drivers for almost everything, and new bios/uefi - finally my pc works and I can play DCS in VR all the time. Please close this thread as resolved, and thanks to everybody helping me Ps: later I found out all that was Intels fault; my cpu is 14600kf, one of Intels with "wrong" factory settings. I had about 50-100 BSODs and forced restarts.... I can only hope nothing else was damaged because of this. Edited August 4, 2024 by Brzi_Joe Spelling 1
