FupDuck Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 My question is, well, the title . I got all excited when I saw there was a campaign for the Mosquito, but I don't have the Channel map, and given that it's mostly encompassed in the Normandy 2 map now (which also has better performance compared to the last time I trialed the Channel map), I probably won't buy the Channel map at this point. Is there any plan or chance for releasing this campaign for the Normandy 2 map? Thanks! (PS I currently have The Big Show and Jagdflieger in my cart, looking forward to flying those!) Solution Reflected Posted February 20, 2024 Solution Posted February 20, 2024 I can't port a mission from one map to another without completely redoing it from scratch. Every trigger line. Then, the N2 map doesn't have some of the places where the campaign takes place - e.g. Amiens Prison? So I need to find new targets, which means all voice overs go to the trash and I need new ones, as well as briefings, briefing images and kneeboard pages. The only thing I could use from V for Victory would be the Mossie skins. 2 1 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

Just curious, I've heard that the upcoming DCS web editor will allow you to port whole missions over to another map (see around the 0:40 mark of this video: Would something like this make things easier? I guess there's still the issue of Amiens prison missing, and I'm not sure the web editor copies triggers, etc. Anyways, just thought I'd ask. Thanks again! Reflected Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 Yes it would help port over the mission, so I could then delete all units, trigger zones, voice overs and rebuild from scratch due to the difference in locations 1 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
