advent_m Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I've played the "Third Georgian Oil War" for a number of times. I liquidated the C&C vehicles at the target point, and got a message on my screen stating that. On my way back to base I was shot down. :D How the hell do I "win" this campaign and stop getting sad music and a pic of a crashed Shark? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Safari Ken Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 On my way back to base I was shot down. :D How the hell do I "win" this campaign and stop getting sad music and a pic of a crashed Shark? I'd say not getting shot down would be a nice step in the right direction. :music_whistling:
Skydoc Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Havent played that campaign yet, but there seems to be some limit to their willingness to accept failure. When I take out a shedload of bad guys and still get shot down or crash on the way home, it will let me play on. But if you only get a minimal amount of kills and then die, the program ends with a "fail." Recommend reset campaign and try again...done that more times than I care to admit! . Skydoc, out! advent_m Posted April 10, 2009 Author Posted April 10, 2009 Well, I've got it after a few more attempts. I've come to a conclusion that I must get an on-screen message stating I've exterminated the objective. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Skydoc Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I am sure you mean flares. Which does bring up a point: we are totally defenseless against hellfire LG/RG and other RG SAMs aren't we? Other than staying low and remaining undetected, that is. . Skydoc, out! EtherealN Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 chaff when necessary, and fly unpredictably. I want an RWR... ;) Sorry, couldn't resist it. It's actually flares, not chaff. :P EDIT: Dammit skydoc! Skydoc Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Sorry about that, EtherealN, I couldn't resist either...:music_whistling: So when "Bitchin' Svetlana" starts to sing her song about "Warning, under attack!" this must refer to someone lasing you to prepare for an attack, right? That's not a RWR, right? When I am near Abrams tanks, that is often the last thing I hear...:tomato: .. . Skydoc, out!
