Bingo Fuel Warning now doesn't stop after new update 2.9.3 for F18

Since that latest update on beta, there is a mention in the patch notes of a Fixed Bingo fuel behaviour. This seems to have caused the bingo fuel audible warning to go off now every few seconds. How do you turn this off?

Man that's annoying, you could try resetting your bingo to zero and see if that stops it.

yeah thats what iv been doing but what is the official way to do it? is this even intentional or a bug?

I have no clue, hopefully someone can tell us. What I do when i get to bingo is once I'm headed home I set a new bingo level for that last leg. I like to get to the boat with around 3000 lbs. left.

It also tells mother there is a extra 200lbs of fuel on board.

I believe this is correct as is. Yes - it's just been introduced with the latest update, but I'm fairly sure it's correct as per the Operations for the Block 20 F/A18, and the change is to have the bingo behave as it does in real life.

The “Bingo” voice alert is activated when the BINGO caution comes on. With MC OFP 19C, the ″Bingo″ voice alert sounds every 30 seconds until the BINGO fuel level is set below current fuel on board.

The correct procedure is to set a new bingo level. This method ensures that the pilot keeps hearing bingo, incase it's missed during a radio call, RWR or other distractions.

Almost, but not quite, as annoying as the every second 'Home Fuel' deedle deedle, and setting the waypoint to something undefined doesn't help with that anymore.  Nothing like a master caution every half second to distract you in the groove.

As for the bingo, I got that wheels down taxiing to parking.  At least home fuel stops when it thinks you might already be home and can call a tow truck if needed.  Enough to make me wish there was an easier way to turn bitchin' Betty Lou off.
