Did i loose my 50% first purchase chance??

Hi guys, Happy to be here.

I joined recently and i downloaded the free comunity A-4 and started the trial for the F-5, which is the plane i like the most, just to see if i was gonna be able to fly it (im quite clumsy with gaming xD). 

Since i could do some very enjoyable flying and even landing the plane!! , i want to buy the module, the campaigns and some map, but i cant see now my 50% discount. 

Did i do something to loose it?

On my opinion, ED is one of the fairest software simulation companies around  ...

the 50% new user discount is almost the same as the Sale discount on most modules, you only benefited from using it on any given date. Now you can just wait a couple of weeks, until the next DCS sale (the Spring one) and then purchase the F-5 and some maps with the same 50% discount.

I already got my F-5, a couple of campaigns and the Nevada map... that should keep me busy for a while!....... although may be i'm buying another map before the sale is gone! xD

Nah, its just that ED tends to always use the same date ranges for their sales

I enjoy the Nevada map a lot, I do almost all of my training on new aircraft there, pity that it doesn't reach the Pacific coast ... it limits a bit the training that one can have there.

Syria is another of my favorite maps, I prefer it over Persian Gulf for example

It's a large stretch to expect Nevada (NTTR focused map) to reach out to the ocean, hundreds of miles away from the state borders.

Nevada is about half the width of the Syria map, it doesn’t seem like such a large stretch to make it into a similar width as Syria.

It is a stretch when you go twice the original intended size in one direction and probably have to include a few very large cities in the process, which is even more work than original map - so hardly an expansion. I mean, ok, bring it on, best for free, but to expect it happen is like waiting for real Santa. Get real.

I re-read my post and cant see where I said that I expect it to happen, just that it is a pity that it doesn't reach the ocean.

Long-term plan is for DCS World to have a literal full-Earth model, so eventually it will become reality. From the interview Wags did a few weeks ago, they are still in the very early stages of working on it.
