Shaneuk Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 Hi all, As soon as DCS loads I'm getting a very limited view through the lens's - large black areas. It appears to be a random shape each time I load up, like putting a black piece of black card over an area of the lenses. It's been absolutely fine up until the latest update. I have tried a completely fresh install as I thought it maybe because of the merge of the open beta and official release, but it's still there. Just for info, my headset is working absolutely fine with every other VR titles I own. Using Open XR, a good enough PC to run DCS - RTX 4080 blah ,blah, blah anyone else getting anything like this with a G2? I'd appreciate any help as I can't bring myself to play on a flat screen. Thanks in advance!!

Shaneuk Posted March 12, 2024 Author Posted March 12, 2024 Thanks, I'll try reinstalling WMR. I've tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers but with no joy! I thought it seemed like an isolated case as I couldn't see anything like it on the forum I'll post how I get on. Thanks for your help!!

Drac Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Periodically, I get a black screen with a thin vertical line in the middle of my G2. It appears the thin vertical line is the DCS main menu. I have to shut down WMR and restart DCS to correct it. What I may be seeing may be different from what you see in the headset.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 13, 2024 ED Team Posted March 13, 2024 I have had vertical line issues in the past which turned out to be cable issues. I have replaced my cable twice now which is annoying. My cables are well managed with a ceiling rig so they dont get a lot of stress. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Shaneuk Posted March 14, 2024 Author Posted March 14, 2024 Here's my log file. I see if I can get a picture from inside the headset of what I'm seeing. The mirror on monitor looks normal. Appreciate your help! dcs.log I'm sure if it was a cable issue it would be reflected across all my VR titles, and it isn't Thanks On 3/13/2024 at 11:14 AM, Drac said: Periodically, I get a black screen with a thin vertical line in the middle of my G2.
