Yes, there are, and they are in fact operational.

 

Su-25T's on the other hand are a nearly non-existant species, let alone endangered or operational ;)

i said going from dcs back to lock on. not about what will come next, there are a couple of posts on that theme. i was asking because i didn't play lock on, and i was thinking of learning to fly a plane from there. since i like dcs, i was wondering what other people who also like dcs, fly in lock on. this is so i get a bit of help in making my decision. right now i'm thinking of su-27.

More than what? It operates 12-20 Ka-50's. It operates no Su-25T's, and in fact, AFAIK, no one does. I could be wrong ;)

 

So, let me put it another way. WHy would you expect a plane in DCS that is not being used, is not being developed, and is not being sold to anyone? Who on earth would want a military simulator for it?

 

Now you are a little closer to the answer. To re-iterate what has been said before ... if you want to see it in DCS, it more than likely will have to be contracted by a military beforehand for the military branch of Eagle's simulations ;)

I'd vote for something else anyway:

 

Take 2 years time for the next addon after the A10C and release and addon with 2 competative aircraft like F15C and Mig29S. ;)

People who have migrated en-masse from LockOn to BS would not have to 'learn' to fly a fixed-wing again......it's like riding a bike ;)

 

And I'll hesitate to add that in all probability the majority are still dabbling in both to a larger degree.

 

Personally I'll always be drawn to the T-Toad. Why?

If you want that you should go to the nearest airport and rent the cheapest, crappiets, oldest, bare-boned aircraft you can find and take that for a spin. ;)

Flaming cliffs was, AFAIK, about a prototype aircraft that was never used operationally.

I don't actually know, but given that Russia is upgrading to Su-25SM, I'd say no.

I read that production of the 50 did resume -but only 5 more 50's were built before it was stopped again. Or resources were "reallocated" to the 52, something like that...

 

I didn't know how many were already "operational" (used loosely) Besides- this was on Wiki- so not worth much to begin with. Just having a little laugh.
