Ammo truck / rearm ?

I am trying to rearm my KA50  (Blue side)  using an ammo truck but it will not let me ?  what do i need to do to rearm using a ammo truck?

You need a helipad of some form to rearm (invisible, pad single, or full on heliport) and be within 100m of that object to rearm.

Thanks -  so ammo trucks are pointless then really in game

Ammo trucks will allow other ground units to re-arm eg SAMS, artillery if they are within a certain radius

Different vehicles provide different services. Check page 313 of the DCS user manual.

Depends on the scenario. You can have an inactive pad in place, then move ammo + fuel trucks to provide service later in the mission. On your can dynamically generate pads and provide services via scripting.

No, they provide ammunition to ground units. In Combined Arms, if you drive any armed vehicle and spend all on board ammo, you can only rearm, if inside the black circle ( 200m ) of a truck that has Logistics capabilities, e.g. M939, Kamaz or Ural 375...

You need to drive in range and reload ammo.

The same goes for AI units, if they spent all ammo they can reload, if ammo trucks are close enough (they do this automatically, but they don't drive to the truck).
