Into The Jungle - MP Vietnam era experience

You may have seen some of the recent videos from my group when flying this mission.  A mission we call "Into the Jungle". This is a MP Vietnam era mission using period proper aircraft on the Marianas Map. The mission has a focus on eliminating randomly generated VC troops in and around the lake area on the southern part of the Marianas map.  The mission highlights the OH-6A Cayuse and A-4 Skyhawk and was originally put together in preparation for the F-4E (which is also in the mission).  Also included are Hueys and F5s.

I have been asked to post this mission from some of the folks who have watched the videos.  I normally don't post missions with mods in them so be aware, this mission requires a few.  You could always modify the mission and exclude anything you don't want, I suppose.  Here's the link to the file - https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3338197/

Good stuff!!!! Glad to see you got this out there for everyone to fly.  Still keeping its edge and an outstanding mission to practice all roles the F-4 was capable of performing.  Also the best MP mission for utilizing the OH-6 in conjunction with strike groups and marking targets.  Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback.

Oooh, that's unfortunate.  I would imagine the author doesn't want people hosting his work.  I am away from the computer but when I get a chance I'll remove it.  That asset is flavor only and I can replace.

Now that's strange.....v1.1 is back even though I updated it yesterday.  I'll redo when I'm back at home.

It's almost as though there was a rollback of sorts.

Got all the mods installed. Still says I need to install the seaking mod. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas appreciated

Hummmm....

Make sure you haven't mistakenly installed into base along with saved games.

Seaking is really for eye candy - rescue Helo on carrier.  If you can't figure it out, you can always remove from ME.

I'm away from my gaming computer and will check the seaking install directory when I return this afternoon.

The folder structure is <saved games>\Mods\tech

Put the "Seaking Pack v0.6" mod folder there.

Thanks for your help. Finally got the chance have another go. Couldn't get the mod to work. Ended up removing the Sea King and it started. Now to find some time to have a proper go with the OH-6. Thanks again.

Hi All

Firstly, thank you for all your efforts with what is a fantastic piece of work and thoroughly enjoyable. Together with a friend we have been able to create some great missions such as building a forward mortar base and defending FARPS from attacks.

However, we have experienced the similar lag or slideshow. As I opened the server, I have frozen screens and crashes galore! My friend has none during his flights. We tested a few things and it seemed to be the trucks, off any sort being the issue and it only affects the server creator.

We moved all the trucks to separate area as I could not find a way to unlink the trucks from those it was supplying. I disabled the ROE and made them unarmed. This seems to sort the issue until I treated flying against the Bunker hill compound and the same issue (although it was more survivable) occurred.

Any thoughts?

Plus.. Question - How do I get the infantry on a embarkation to pop smoke? I've seen it somewhere but as I learn the system I find it hard to navigate back to it.
