hey Poli , the Kiowa is out but my question is whats next in development ?

Wish you could be thinking in some Naval helo, maybe not a ASW platform given that is not yet implemented in DCS World but, a Sea Stallion ? Sea Knight ?  Cobra ?

Westland Lynx please.  Widely exported, used by Armies, Navies, and Air Forces.  Agile to the point of aerobatic, and used in a variety of roles, such as anti-armour, SAR, ASW and general battlefield utility.

A Sea King would also be a great shout. Also a prolific type, fulfilling transport, SAR and ASW and AEW roles.

Mi-2 please! There are too few helicopters from the eastern block in DCS, we need more, so pls do someting from Soviet side, not again western choop…

I'd be happy to have any US Navy helicopters. I doubt there will be any Soviet helicopters unless from the ED themselves.

DCS has a problem with red aircraft, not helicopters.

For sure, Mi-28 for example could be awesome too, however I don't have any hope with this ;).

I must say - the release of the Kiowa really increases my desire an additional angry tadpole! 

The Mil Mi-2 would make quite a contrast, both in technology and in flight dynamics! It'd also give a more scout like helicopter to the Warsaw Pact.

Of course, issuing Western helicopters all the time, without any balance, has become boring ;). Also CH-47 incoming, so the next something for the east side (eventualy Eurocopter Tiger :D).

As a PZL design - and an older design - it should be quite possible to get all of the information required to model the Mi-2URP without national security concerns getting in the way.

It is also the next most important Soviet helicopter by production numbers.

Anyway, It is fun to have a mixture of experiences.

It'd also be the first helicopter with a MCLOS missile - which would contrast nicely with the more advanced types of guidance (SACLOS, SAL, Laser beam-riding, and radar guided) that exist in the sim. I really enjoy MCLOS in the Viggen, and it would be very satisfying when it worked... more skill is involved after all! It also has an armament that is slightly heavier than the existing light helicopters, and a considerably larger rotor... and is just an amusing design overall!
