Hare Ball Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Hi all I’m having an issue with installation of the Flaming Cliffs 3 module. This seemed to arise today when I went to update DCS to the most recent release, and during the update the following message appeared, indicating the ‘A10A.dll’ file from Flaming Cliffs 3 was missing. This terminated the update and then after that, all of my modules were disabled/unauthorised. A DCS repair was unsuccessful. I ended up doing a fresh install, but the same error comes up. However, this time I can use other modules so I have at this point removed Flaming Cliffs 3. Looking in the ‘download’ folder referenced is true - there is no A10A.dll, but all the other FC3 aircraft have dll files there. Does anyone have any ideas what might have caused this? Or is there a way I can manually download a copy of A10A.dll and place it in the download folder to prompt the update/install to complete successfully? Thanks
Solution razo+r Posted June 7, 2024 Solution Posted June 7, 2024 Check if your Anti Virus has removed the file. If it did, restore it and maybe add an exception to that file or the whole DCS folder. If that was indeed the case, then you should run another repair. That should download the missing file. 2
Hare Ball Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 That seems to have fixed the install, but I’m still getting an ‘Authorization Failed’ message for that module. Not sure why - never did before, and all my other modules are working.

Hare Ball Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 I got it sorted overnight. Issue with the antivirus and firewall; I’ve done a few reinstalls over the years and it’s never done it before so this was a bit of a strange one. Now for a day of reconfiguring controls and mods…. Thanks everyone for the help 1
