horus-DCS Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 That effect causes moiré patterns. It's annoying, but I can live with it. The real problem is showing up when I export the MFD to external monitor. If the monitor's physical pixel lines and the image's scan lines don't match, several thick lateral stripes will be drawn. Is there a solution for this? Or could you just remove the scan lines? I don't think it's really necessary. 3
monkie Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 it's an effect I can live without to be honest. 2 Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
Dav IRL Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 The flickering doesn't export well. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.
c4nadi4n Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 Yeah the lines and curves it causes is very distracting.

I've found the moire effect extremely strong in VR - to the point it makes it hard to see anything when moving the MMS. I recall a previous module that I think had this issue and they either toned it down or got rid of the effect for VR users. Definitely needed here!

Ditto, in VR too, please remove this effect or at least make it optional! 1 Zip - VEAF :pilotfly: If you want to learn, talk and fly with french-speaking friends, the Virtual European Air Force is here for you !
