That effect causes moiré patterns.

It's annoying, but I can live with it. The real problem is showing up when I export the MFD to external monitor.

If the monitor's physical pixel lines and the image's scan lines don't match, several thick lateral stripes will be drawn.

 

Is there a solution for this?

Or could you just remove the scan lines? I don't think it's really necessary.

There's a another post regarding this issue too. I've found the moire effect extremely strong in VR - to the point it makes it hard to see anything when moving the MMS. I recall a previous module that I think had this issue and they either toned it down or got rid of the effect for VR users. Definitely needed here!

Ditto, in VR too, please remove this effect or at least make it optional!
