How to activate datalink at startup ?

Hi,

we have ah64 since few week and we want to use datalink. I make a default mission with only 4 apache. In this mission, when we take helicopter at hot version , datalink work well, but when I take the same mission but apache is cold datalink is not working (only apu is on) 

do we have to activate something to activate datalink at startup ?

Thanks but we made all of this point in this video but it’s still not working when we start at cold version (in hot version is working).  
In mission editor, all units are in same datalink group (team and pri) and in game we change nothing in net config.

It seems there is a problem with DL with cold helicopters.

As I mentioned in that other thread, we have been flying nightly with multiple cold-start Apaches using DL (typically on VHF) without issue.  Sharing waypoints, routes, targets, PP, RFHO, etc.

Maybe it's mission-related?  Maybe it's setup-related?  It does work for us (if you ignore the NAK messages).

For us, it’s clearly not working when we are at cold start. Same mission with hot unit it’s working. All on same group in ME, all on same freq.

I’m away from my computer for two weeks, but if you post the mission someone might be able to look at it and see if they experience the problem as well.

We did a test tonight. Single unit in each group, DL set in ME (did not try manual setup). Did not work. Changed it to hot and it works.

To add to this post. Me and my buddy flying on a regular base have the same problem. Cold start no D/L (triple checked every setting in cockpit and ME), hot start no issues.

We fly pretty regularly in an organized group. On cold starts we have to cycle the IDM rocker off the DL freq and back to it in both seats then it works. Hope you get it fixed.
