I know it's technically not a bug, but I'm getting virus warnings on 3 files after doing a new installation today. 2 of the files are from Razbam products (F-15E/M-2000) so I thought maybe out of date files, but one of the files was on the Phantom installation.

I went ahead and ran DCS multiple times and nothing bad happened, but I get the warnings every time. Can I just go ahead and ignore them?

Exclude your DCS folder in your Anti-Virus software and run a DCS repair to replace the 3 files that your AV probably has put into quarantine.

these files are encrypted to prevent intellectual property theft for the most part. it is just that the AV companies suspect these files when they do not know about them. i used to work for a company that ran AV on an Exchange server. the server would go down periodically because important DLLs where blocked. so it does not just happen to gamers.

if you need assistance with exclusions, come back and let us know what AV you are running, and we can help you sort it.
