Creasy85 Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Hi, so I am wondering if anyone is experiencing the same. I was playing DCS on my rig for a year now and running smoothly - Z790, i7-13700k, 64GB RAM, ZOTAC Geforce RTX 4090. Now when I start up a mission it straight out dumps the game and I am back in Windows. Event viewer doesn't say much. DCS log attached, but I can't make sense of it. Faulting application name: DCS.exe, version: 2.9.1.48335, time stamp: 0x655cbf04 Faulting module name: edCore.dll, version: 2.9.1.48335, time stamp: 0x655bcdeb Exception code: 0xc00000fd Fault offset: 0x000000000017b817 Faulting process id: 0x0x314C Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DAD3D48CDD819B Faulting application path: F:\Games\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe Faulting module path: F:\Games\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\edCore.dll I have reinstalled DCS, got the up to date drivers, switched of all unnecessary apps. No clue what is causing this. Did you come across this issue by chance? thanks! dcs.log

If it keeps crashing, then the problem cause lies within the DC program folder itself (unlikely, as you say that you have reinstalled DCS), but if now it does not crash then the cause of the problem is within your own /Saved Games/ folder. But I found out other games started having problems as well. probably some problem with the whole system. 1
Flappie Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 I see you're running DCS ST. What about DCS MT? Does it crash as well? 2024-07-11 20:54:46.951 INFO APP (Main): Command line: "F:\Games\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe" ---
