In 2D they looked exactly like dot labels which was silly I don’t know if that’s changed. 1 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
Aspen702 Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Can confirm in VR at least. Just about impossible to visually spot or ID an aircraft within visual range. 1
Qcumber Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 The spotting system looks a lot better since the last update. I can see distant aircraft as a dot rather than a blob and you start to notice details at a more realistic range. Zooming in is also more realistic than it was. The only issue is with QVFR. The lower Res areas still display a blurry blob rather than defined pixels. Morat Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 On my G2 at least it seems to have gone from BLOB -> nothing -> 3D model to dot -> 3D model Which seems logical but it's hard to spot anything now. I probably need to practice scanning for tiny pixels.

Tried again tonight on 80s server was awful in VR couldn't seeing anything. . I really don't want to go back to 2D but looks like I'm being forced to. If ED had a military contract using this game engine I would have it up for tender . ...
