I have been using Trackir 5 pro for over ten years, and since Trackir was finally killed, a few months ago I started looking for his successor. I found 3 videos introducing Aimxy on youtube, one of which was produced and released by the famous Grim Reapers:

The other is:

AimxyZ Instruction Video

The Amazon link is:

You can see many people’s comments on the link I purchased:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X7FQJHZ

If you're in Europe, you can buy it here:
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0CQNPM7TJ

Before buying, I tried some interesting solutions, such as ViewTracker and Beam Eye Tracker on Steam, the mobile app SmoothTrack, and Opentrack's neuralnet, and finally, I even bought a Tobii5. Although they all do not need to wear anything on the head, they all have problems with insufficient accuracy and too much lag. None of them can come close to the experience of Trackir.

Finally, I purchased an AimxyZ. After receiving the product, I opened the product’s official website:
http://z.aimxy.com
Downloaded and installed the software, and adjusted AimxyZ according to Manual. Since I wear glasses, I placed it in the lower right corner of my screen as the instructions suggest.

AimxyZ only requires CPU and not GPU. My computer CPU is 12900 without K. When AimxyZ's engine is set to the maximum, Lag will be the least. Then on the Config page, reduce the Smooth of Rotation and Position to 1-2. I feel that my AimxyZ is working like Trackir, but I don’t need to wear anything, and I won’t lose sensing because the head angle is too large. , and the sensing will not be interrupted due to collision between two points of the light holder at a specific angle.

In particular, the AimxyZ can be used in darker environments. I only have a low-bright desk lamp turned on in my room, but the AimxyZ works very well without any issues.

Because using the camera and starting the software requires an Internet connection, some people may be worried about privacy issues. I did a test according to the plan introduced by others:
"I ran Wireshark capture to see if there was anything sending back to the server, but there was none. Which means you can play without the internet as long as you pass the first "validation" process."

I really like the feeling of high precision, high sensitivity, and low Lag without wearing anything. Although I am also using VR to play DCS now, I use AimxyZ more often. I sincerely recommend this product to everyone.

Disclaimer: I have not received any promotional fees from Aimxy, and they do not seem to have any active overseas marketing plans. I just hope more people can use this fantastic product.

TrackIR was discontinued?  I know they only provide game profile updates anymore and only 1 this year so far, but I haven't seen anything about the product being discontinued despite it's age.

In your world maybe. Paid €65 for what use including shipping. 😉

Have you checked the prices of real trackir (not clones) lately?

Chinese knockoffs on AliExpress are significantly more than €65.

Didn't buy those. And yes, they are stupid expensive. I use a Delanclip with a refurbished PS3 and OpenTrack. I use headset VAICOM/VoiceAttack, so I'm gonna have headware anyway, and it doesn't bother me. Wear headphones all day long too.
I have a feeling the TrackIR has better software with some nifty features. Haven't found those in OpenTrack.
That said. If I have understood this correctly. It's a new brand from CubeSim? Have their radar wheel. Very good quality, and the box it came in. I kept that.

So, going back to my point, the AimXY is cheaper than a TrackIR setup.

I'm happy using my Logitech C920 camera with OpenTrack, get excellent results with it. Got the PS3 Eye Tracking Camera as well but I get better results with the C920 in low light.

Friend of mine has all the main brands, apart from the AimXY and swears by his Tobieye, he offered me his TrackIR and DeclanClip and couple of others for almost nothing and I was still "I'm fine with what I got"

If you are willing to try new things, you should try AimxyZ, which performs much better than Opentrack's neuralnet, uses less CPU, has lower lag, higher accuracy, is suitable for larger screens, and can support a distance of more than 2.5 meters. The simplest description: AimxyZ is like Trackir 5 pro (No damn Fake😫) but without wearing anything.

I am willing to try new things but don't see the point in replacing something with a product that costs X amount when the product I am using is 100% free and I'm happy with its performance and had zero issues with it even in low light.

I also don't have to wear anything which seems to be a big selling point of AimxyZ and the very reason why I turned down offers from a friend who said I could have his Track IR Pro, DeclanClip and few others for practically nothing rather than them gathering dust in his closet.

Because it is not difficult to wear nothing, but it is very difficult to achieve the performance of wearing something without wearing anything. I have tried all the best possible cameras with OpenTrack's neuralnet, and their performance is not as good as AimxyZ. If you are willing to try it one day, I believe you will agree with me.😁

Give me one for free and I will try it. I'm not replacing a free option I'm happy to use with one I have to pay for.

Like I said a close friend owns just about every one on the market and spent thousands, the only one he swears by is Tobieye which is why I got offered all the others practically for free.

Each to there own really you love using the AimxyZ and I like my setup. As for performance I can honestly say I have never notice a single time when lag in head movement has cost me the fight or led to me being shot down.

What kind of gibberish is this? 🤣Actually, what's your problem? Have you ever heard the expression. "If it works, don't fix it!" ?

My Delanclip/PS3 solution works perfectly. No lag at all for a fraction of the cost of the aimxzyblabala. (Might be cheaper than TrackIR, but it's not cheap, and we're not discussing TrackIR ripoffs here, would never have considered those at all, not sure why you brought them up in the first place). I wear headphones, and will ever do that, because I prefer it. I also use VoiceAttack/VAICOM, so wearing stuff does not bother me.

On another note. I watched the video in the OP when it was first released. Nothing in the video convinced me this was a product I wanted.

Are you involved with the product, trying to advertise it in any way? If so, you should come clean.

If you don't mind carrying a lot on your head, please ignore my suggestion.😀
