DmitriKozlowsky Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 I do not understand view of ground targets through HUD I just dont see them I dont see them. I can see ground targets in external view and when looking through canopy. But when look at ground targets, like SAM or truck. It is not drawn through HUD unless I zoom max in view, which makes engagemnt useless. At bes t ground targets are shaded pixels, just single pixel, against ground. This is at 2560 X 1440.

Leva80 Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 You are going to have to get in pretty darn close if you expect to see any ground targets through the hud. What are you trying to accomplish? 1
Recluse Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 For this reason, I use SYMBOL labels.. I don't feel like it is cheating. Whenever I fly commercial, and look out the window, I can see things like cars and buildings so much better from high altitude, so I feel it is a limitation of the simulated environment, and labels make things MORE realistic vs. less (except for the immediate feedback on FRIEND or ENEMY...but I'll take it )
