Armored_Sheep Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Everytime one cremember WASes rockets the othe one will loose control of them. Unable to enter COOP mode. This bug looks simillar to
ED Team Raptor9 Posted August 10, 2024 ED Team Posted August 10, 2024 Is the player in the CPG slot actioning rockets on the Cyclic or the left TEDAC grip? If actioned on the Cyclic, COOP cannot be entered. Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
FalcoGer Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Just flew. works for me. You have to use the TEDAC grip weapon action switch, not the cyclic one.
Armored_Sheep Posted August 10, 2024 Author Posted August 10, 2024 Why is that so? Why we have duplicate key bindings in the game that cause such error?

Why we have duplicate key bindings in the game that cause such error? It's not a duplicate key binding or an error, that's how it is in the real aircraft. If the CPG actions rockets on the TEDAC, he clearly isn't flying so he cannot align the aircraft with the rocket steering, so COOP mode is entered if the Pilot actions rockets as well. If the CPG actions rockets on the Cyclic, it is assumed he is flying the aircraft and therefore is the one aligning the aircraft with the rocket steering, using the HMD, instead of the pilot. Since only one person should be flying, it takes the rocket control away from the Pilot. Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head

Early Access Guide page 457 Quote Cooperative mode can only be entered when the CPG actions rockets on the TEDAC Left Handgrip and the Pilot actions rockets on the Cyclic Grip. 1 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
ED Team Raptor9 Posted August 10, 2024 ED Team Posted August 10, 2024 To be clear, this behavior is documented in the Early Access Guide under the descriptions for both Weapon Action Switches on the TEDAC and Cyclic grips, as well as the Weapon Employment chapter which details the procedures for employing Cooperative rockets (both Direct and Indirect). 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.
