Has anybody flown this with a TM Warthog HOTAS...successfully. If YES, would you mind sharing just the basic flight control setups and possibly Axis curves. I'm struggling with EVERYTHING but particularly the Collective or Thrust Control Levers ????

What other devices are you rotary pilots using for Collective with Hueys/MH-60/Apache, etc. I'm willing to spend if it's worth the investment. Suggestions appreciated.

I'm flying perfectly with the Warthog. No issues with regards to flight. Only some buttons are binding. I don't really add curves for the Warthog and the Hook. But I do fly differently from everyone else and I think it's for this reason I can be so aggressive with my Helo moves. I reverse my rudder pedals which makes it feel more natural to gaming than real life.

Warthog stick is not a problem (yet), I may swap over to my WinWing after removing/replacing springs. But sorting out the Collective or Thrust Control Levers; not sure which throttle or axis to use. Mind sharing on those settings?

I’m trying to sort this out too with the WH.

I usually use the fat right throttle lever as my collective so that’s stayed the same. The left WH throttle I tried binding to the left eng 1 cond lever and have the grey axis lever on the right bound to the right eng 2 cond lever.

When I went through starting it up though the two eng sliders won’t react in the same way. The grey slider’s a bit different somehow.

come back Chucksguides all is forgiven 😄.

K-51 collective, 70% X saturation. Set as reversed and slider. This could be your issue, make sure it is a slider.
MS FFB2 as cyclic, no curves.
Slaw Rotors, as torque pedals, no curves.
Warthog throttle as conditioners. Sliders, no curves.

How important are the engine condition levers after start-up? Can’t find anything useful yet.

The engine condition levers stay where they are once you’re up and running. You’ll only use them again once you’re shutting down. I was using them by scrolling the mouse in the end last night. Works fine, I just like to have stuff bound.
