joey45 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 What bar are you talking about? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Most likely the Bar at the top and bottom, which if you're running on a large monitor, is quite small. Odds are the OP is wondering if there's a way to resize it. The only other possibility is to have the GIs equipped with this BAR:
Solution TKhaos Posted August 13, 2024 Solution Posted August 13, 2024 Think they are referring to the Resizable Bar for the Nvidia GPU, or SAM on the AMD. I've got it enabled on my system and never noticed any problems and as far as I know it's used in DCS, least they posted about it maybe two or three years ago. 1
Dr_Pavelheer Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 @Tank50us @joey45 Resizable BAR is a technology that improves the way CPU accesses VRAM, it has nothing to do with black bars on your screen lol 2
Grindmetal Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 this is activated natively via BIOS for > Hardware works in all games

That's what I like about AMD Adrenline, being able to switch it on and off in the software so if I play a game where it causes problems I can just disable it. Really need to be playing at 1440p or above to see any real gains, at 1080p most games are 1-3fps at best. 2
