John Galt Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 Just jumped in the Huey for the first time and really enjoyed it, but a friend wants to be my door gunner but I don't know how to create those slots so he can join. When I add a Huey to a mission, all I can choose is the pilot slot, what am I doing wrong?
razo+r Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 If you place a Huey down with skill set to "Client" and host the mission online, it should automatically generate the other slots for multicrew. But the first person has to occupy the pilot slot anyway otherwise the other slots won't open. 2

You prepare the mission on the Mission Editor, but then you have to use the MULTIPLAYER option of the DCS menu, to start your PC as a Server to which your friends can join. It will give this seat selection screen: 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Solution DD_Friar Posted August 15, 2024 Solution Posted August 15, 2024 @John Galt Your friend has to own the Huey as well. You do not have to do anything extra in the editor. Are you running a multiplayer mission as well? (obvs) On the slot selection screen he then picks one of the other positions after you are in. You will receive a message asking for permission for him to join. You accept and then he will be placed in that slot. Hope that helps. 1 Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com.
