Server Shutdown

How many have you jumped in an online game, did your preflight, startup, flew all the way into the combat zone and the HOST decides to shut the server down?

 

Are there any dedicated servers that run 24/7 that do NOT require a password?

Why don't you set up your own server? You have the hardware.

This game seems to crash on a large variety of PCs, from just crashes to C++ crashes. I haven't been able to get it run stable on any PC I own for more than 10-15hrs of straight runtime. So if your on my server, its unfortunate that it will crash, but if I'm around I try to restart it asap. I've tried XP, Vista, different parts, overlockced, stock settings, various things, and its still an issue. Although it does run fine on my main PC, too bad I cant host in that one :P.

 

Public open servers are rare, and I hope more will come out soon.

I may just do that, but it still would be nice to have a remote sever to access and/or control that runs full time.

I have lots of problems with server 'Servman' shutdown too (on computer #2)... but, I am chalking it up to my ISP RoadRunner cable... and they blame my router(s) I have 2 new ones, and tried both...
