159th_Viper Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) .......159th Guards Aviation Regiment....... After another lengthly absence, the 159th GAR is again proud to announce the return of the DCS: Black Shark Dedicated server accessible from the DCS: Black Shark Multiplayer User-Interface. The Primary reason for the noticed absence was occasioned to provide to the Multiplayer Community a server willing and able to Deliver the Goods, so to speak, and as a consequence the server has been upgraded to the following Configuration: In addition, we have moved Server provider Companies to the below-Listed provider. Intel Q6600 Quad Core 2.4 Ghz 2 Gigs Ram Windows Server 2003 With the addition of Acedy's Server Management Mod, the server is well established to provide to the DCS Multiplayer Community that which they strive for - An Environment where we can strive to increase our Flight Skills through a medium of Missions designed to Foster and Nurture Training in and Dedication to the Simulation, but most of all a place where we can have Fun! Currently utilizing the Biggameserver Hosting Company, the server provides correspondingly low Pings internationally with the attendant increase in playability. With extremely competitive rates and attendant packages they indeed come highly recommended - well worth investigation if in the market for a dedicated server! All Said and Done, the Primary Purpose of the Server and availabilty thereof is ultimately driven by YOU, the DCS Community Member......All we ask is that the server is Utlilized and Used, Not Abused. For a list of Rules regulating the conduct on the server, navigate over to the Forums and have a wee Browse. At the end of the Day, It's all about the SIM and the enjoyment thereof. 159th Dedicated & TeamSpeak Server: Dedicated DCS all day every day And though I fly through the Valley of Death, I shall Fear no Evil for I am at 10M AGL and Descending........ Fudd Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 It's good to be back!!! I enjoyed seeing many of you flying about on Friday. We've been having some stability issues with the Server 2003 Web Edition OS. Today we are planning on upgrading to Server 2008. It will be interesting to see if it provdes smoother framerates for the client with the enhanced support for multicore machines. 1 The code is probaly in Russian anyway.

Please see this post [http://forum.51st.org/viewtopic.php?p=8379#p8379] for more info." Because i can record multiplayer-sessions with TacView on the 159th-dedi-server (i have tried it yesterday with TacView v .93 with the mission death-valley) the question is: are the ACMI-TacView-files locked DURING the flight on the 159th Dedi-Server?
