It is definitely a bug. I play single player, ejected from student seat and on ground still can control plane. I did not switch to instructor seat.

I was just joking. Of course it's a bug. Related to all the trainers it seems. Have you tried other two seaters? Amazing find actually. What persuaded you to even try?

I found this bug by accident. My engine on C-101CC got flameout, then I ejected. And then I flown on parachute and still controlled a plane. A big surprise!

Why save track? Bug can be easily reproduced. New mission, place plane on runway, start mission, eject on ground and then player able control aircraft, even takeoff.
