The future of the Sinai map.

I've been closely following the development and announcements of improvements to all the maps and I noticed that the Syria map is getting a lot of airports in Israel. Simply put, it's being expanded. There was even a disagreement in the past about removing part of Israel. I even wrote something before the topic was locked. You can see it below and don't get me wrong this is very good for everyone! I'm glad this is happening.

The point of the thread is that I would love to make a request to OnReTech. I would love to see all of Israel made and parts of Jordan, Syria and Lebanon included in the development. I don't mean all of Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, but a part of the beginning of the country. If the Sinai map is not taken care of, it will attract few buyers. I want the Sinai map to grow every day and become something on the same level as Syria. Don't take this personally. I want only the best from OnReTech and its developers.

Of course I can't help but say that I appreciate the great improvements the map has received! Thank you!

Yes, Sinai is potentially a fantastic map, it’s already pretty good and now my favourite.

OnReTech, despite being slow to update it, have made something with masses of potential and I have made some atmospheric Six Day and Yom Kippur War missions, and downloaded others.  If they can expand it as suggested above it will be even better.

I hope they will in future update it more frequently - little and often is maybe the best way to keep people interested.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Can you share why Sinai is now your favorite map?

The fact that the Syria map has already expanded to the south suggests that there is already an agreement in place between both third-party developers and in time, Sinai will naturally expand to the north as well?

If this is indeed the case, both the cooperation and competition between both developers will increase the standard of each map far beyond what we ever expected or imagined.

The big problem I see with DCS maps right now is that they're... big. I know I can't afford installing both Syria and Sinai maps at the same time if I want to replay the Yom Kippur war that took place on the territory of both maps. And we don't exactly have a one single map for Israel and its surroundings that would allow that, and it wouldn't have to be a big map either. So yes, either the mappers agree upon some overlap or we all just have to sit and wait for the world map. Not to hijack the topic, but another cause for similar concern is the Iraq map where I couldn't find any airfields for Iran that would let us simulate the Iran-Iraq war.
