After several weeks of work and a lot of testing support from the community, we're ready for our live test of the new event format this weekend. Tempest's Blueflash Curated PVPVE Campaign. The sister server of Enigma's Cold War is back with version 3. This evolution moves away from the real time dynamic scripting in favor of a curated, hand crafted multi map/multi mission campaign that begins in the Persian Gulf with a battle for Dubai and territorial control and will initially stretch across Syria and Sinai as either side advances through completion of various, tailor made objectives. Both fixed wing and rotary craft have been considered and catered to with a variety of missions within each scenario that will see each team co-ordinate to attack and defend front lines, strategic locations and valuable assets. There is something for everyone from CAP to CAS, deep strikes and Naval Operations, with more planned later down the road. You can find more detailed information within the FAQ. The community is mostly Discord based where you can ask questions, provide feedback and make suggestions. Click here to Join Keep an eye out on lore and the announcements channel in there for more details and features to come. Including a unique player based economy that will be implemented (soonTM) Also since this is a live open beta test of the new mission please feel free to post in our #Feedback-and-Discussion and #Bug Report channels if you come across any issues. Good hunting!

Hi @OnReTech, is it possible to know something more about estimated date of release EA version if it's not top secret ? I'm not talking about a certain date, but what period are you aiming to make with the completion of the version for release more or less (own proposition). Month or quarter maybe. Maps looks promissing, Im waiting for it too and some the last Wags videos was recorded over Sinai map so looks like more soon than far . Last time it was something like this with SA map and Apache, 1-2 months later the map was released :).

Hey, Im having a little trouble with the Sinai map, mostly around cities. With my usual settings (Image 1), I get 22fps in the middle of Cairo, with the Ka-50 III "Takeoff from helipad" mission. Turning down the settings significantly (Image 2), and loading the mission back up yields no change in performance. Nothing running except for DCS and OpenTrack, plus task manager CPU load wasnt super high, but GPU was. DCS was using a little under 10Gb of RAM, out of 32. Specs are: Ryzen 5 2600, Radeon RX 570 8Gb, 32Gb DDR4 3600Mhz RAM. Deleted FXO and Metashaders2 and renamed export.lua to export.lua.old, as there was some wierd socket stuff happening there from the DCS UFC app. Only saw a 2-3Fps improvement, but may have been a coincidence. Any ideas why Im not seeing any performance change, and what I could do to improve things?

I believe this terrain surpasses all others in several aspects, including the damage model, scale, performance, and terrain details. It would be a fantastic addition if the developers consider charging extra for an expanded area that includes the South of Syria (up to Damascus), Jordan, and the western part of Iraq, including H3.

Hello OnReTech, congratulations on the great success of your Sinai map. Not only does this historically rich map make the DCS world more exciting, but you have taken DCS's terrains technology to a new level. During my tour of the Sinai map, I noticed no transition between the beach and the ocean, in other maps such as the Marianas and the Persian Gulf there are topographic transitions, I will list screenshots and a satellite view of Sinai to illustrate and compare. sinai map: in the google map: null the Marianas map:

The flickering in the video below shows up very frequently while flying. Many times in the same mission. It makes this map annoying and unplayable. I shortened the video to one such encounter to fit it here. But it will go and come many, many times while flying a mission. I have all the other maps and I have never encountered this problem before. SinaiFlicker.mp4 Cairo.miz dcs_sinai_flicker.log SinaiFlashing.trk
