RogueSqdn Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 (edited) Trying to get my Pimax Crystal back up and running after a while of not using it, but I can't for the life of me make it into a mission without the game crashing. Can anyone help? Can anyone help? Thanks! hello, are you running it with openxr toolkit? i believe that was added natively yo DCS a few months ago. meaning no need for the switches in the shortcut. sleighzy Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 You'd posted this on the DCS Discord server as well. As I mentioned there it looks like Motion Blur is enabled. Can you turn that off and try again. 5 hours ago, silverdevil said: hello, are you running it with openxr toolkit? i believe that was added natively yo DCS a few months ago. meaning no need for the switches in the shortcut. Log doesn't show OpenXR Toolkit in use. This was also not added natively to DCS. AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2

Try reinstalling the GPU driver it may help and if you are over clocking try default values. let us know if it helps Forum rules - DCS Crashing? RogueSqdn Posted November 29, 2024 Author Posted November 29, 2024 @BIGNEWY Sorry, just now saw the updated posts. I'm not overclocking at all. I generally stay updated with release nVidia drivers (using 3090 FE), and believe I've updated since the last post. I currently have my Quest 3 hooked up, but I'll hook the Crystal back up this weekend and see if it works this time. To answer the other posts questions, I did not have OpenXR Toolkit installed since its functionality was added natively to Pimax Play. I currently have it installed for using fixed foveated rendering with the Quest 3, but plan to uninstall it before trying my Crystal again. RogueSqdn Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 Reinstalled PimaxPlay and have the 566.14 nVidia drivers. I was able to get into a mission this time. I don't know what made the difference, but the log posted above shows nVidia 566.03. I'll mark it up to graphics drivers.
