Once you get to activating the radios the text has filled the screen and starts going a bit mad.

It happens because all messages stay on screen during this tutorial, and because you are using a big font scale.

I'll ask devs to clear up messages as it is done in the Mi-8 Coldstart training mission.

Until it's fixed, as a workaround, you can disable text, and then use the message history to read at your leisure.
