The F/A-18C has s Self Protect mode for its HARMs that allow you to shoot the HARM on the fly should you get spiked while say, on a bomb run.  Does the F-16 have something equivalent?  Having to switch from my bomb to the SMS/INV/HARM page then switch to the WEAP page and choosing HAS or what have you then firing takes way too long.

Thanks!

No, not in the sense you want.

But you can of course prepare the MFD pages so that you can quickly cycle through them with DMS left/Right to the appropriate page instead of trying to find it in the MFD page menu. And then if you perhaps pre-set RUK mode or if you use the HAD, it should be fairly quick.

Aw, that's too bad, it's really handy in the Hornet.  I don't' have to do anything but pickle more or less, then I can go back to my bomb run.

On the other hand, HARMS via HTS and HAD is unbeatable!

With a good plan, the F-16 is the winner for SEAD/DEAD. The F-18 guys are always jealous of our toys.

MFD setup makes this all quite easy. Honestly, any SAM that a HARM can target should already be on the list of things to deal with. Setting up the HARM's to fire in POS mode becomes handy.

I would say the HAD side comes closest and SAM that have you in the active track light up red, you can then shoot at them
