Oh great, DCS main menu and option screens text corruption remains in 9.6 official :mad:

 

Seems the actual game runs ok though, i wonder what has changed for this to happen :huh:

If it wasn't for the text glitch issue i get, this driver would be fine for me too :)

 

DCS and LockOn both run fine for me overall with this driver.

Mustang: About your issue, did you try experimenting with the AA/AF-settings? When I've seen something like that, it has in about twelve cases out of four been some misaligned texel wossname - look at that setting as well. I think it's in 'All settings', or expert or advanced settings.

(Not using ATI at present since my X1900 was declared FUBAR, so I can't look it up...)

Yep, i have tried all AF/AA settings, including application preference settings, and i've tried the texel alignment settings, it still glitches the text on my HD3850 on the menu/options screens.

 

But, now theres this to try :)

I have that text problem too.. I made a thread about that problem a couple weeks ago,, no one had an answer, and figured it was the ATI Catalyst 9.6 drivers..

Hey Viper, have you had the chance to try this 9.7 whql out yet?

 

It's rock solid for me (XP 32) 100% stable and no oddness in anything i run (like the glitchy text i was getting with DCS and 9.6) tis' all good here so far :thumbup:

 

Pretty sure this version is the one we'll be getting from AMD/ATi next week.
