Peally Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Firstly I apologize if this has already been covered elsewhere. The search didn't really turn up much. I am currently the proud owner of a nice new TrackIR 5, and it works well in every program except the one I was really looking forward to using, DCS. The TrackIR software does indeed indicate that Black Shark is picking up the program inputs, but in-sim I need to use a HAT switch to look about. I am using the new beta software for v5, and all drivers are up to date. It's probably an easy fix, but I'm a bit at a loss right now. Perhaps I need to downgrade to a stable version of the software? I'm sure it's an easy fix and I'm just missing an obvious step, but it doesn't hurt to ask ;). Any input appreciated gents, thanks in advance. Semper Gumby, Always Flexible
bumfire Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I use TIR5 withe the latest beta software and it works fine here, I dunno what to tell you, when ingame I cant use my hats for looking about when trackir is enabled, it just wont move, well it does but very very slightly and maybe moves or jumps would be a better word about 1-2mm off centre if that.

NaturalPoint_Vince Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 What version of Windows are you using? Do you have Black Shark listed on the games list? Support@NaturalPoint.com TrackIR - Put your head in the game http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/index.html
Safari Ken Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Could TrackIR be paused maybe? That tripped me up a few times when I first got it. What colors are the LED's on the camera?
