It happened recently with the F-86. It turns out it was caused by a mod:

Thank you Flappie, I had a Su-27 English blue cockpit, and after deleting it the F-5 mirrors are working well .

I think the error he's getting with the word "mirror" showing up in the mirror, what I had with the F-86, was caused by something wrong with the launcher. ST or MT, something like that. I think that's what you told me. I'll have to check.

 

The SU-33 bug with the mirrors was a mod issue.

Thats exactly what I have, blue mirrors. BUT I did download a Mod years ago for a sharper cockpit, which I select via the “Special” menu, perhaps that is the problem. I’ll delete it later today and see if that is the problem.

Selecting the Default cockpit in Specials menu sorted the problem and actually gives you the upgraded version, with a better looking radar as well. Top!!!
