Finished the campaign this morning.

Great campaign in a great setting. Loved the crew of Finnish pilots!

Of all the paid campaigns I've purchased and played so far, I think this one was the 'cleanest' in terms of the fewest hang-ups, misfires on triggers, and so on. With only a couple exceptions, the missions went off as scripted with no issues. Hopefully this lasts through future game updates which have an unfortunate way of breaking mission sets.

I did not use easy (invulnerable) mode on any of the missions. 70% of the missions I had to play more than once in order to complete / win. M04 took me about a dozen tries; the damn Grison got me darn near every time.

My only gripe is that a little more air-to-air action would have been nice. Still managed to bag five kills, though, so fair enough.

All told, probably the best paid campaign I've played in DCS so far. Thanks to Baltic Dragon and his team for another great experience. Highly recommend. 9.5/10

Great campaign!! Just finished it and I'm still grinning like an idiot! The last mission was the hardest one and thus so satisfying 😇

M04 almost beat me to it too, but I managed finally. I guess that was the only time when MAVF hit the correct target (damn I hate those IR-Mavs, which pick whom they like as their target, especially from convoys, mixed group of units: ie. häröpallo's.)

So many things I learned/realized while playing this, that I don't even dare to list them, but I owe you a debt of gratitude when putting me into learning path!  🫡

Excellent voice actors, great story. Difficulty and dedication to actual procedures was just spot on for me. Highly recommended!

Thank you @HanuXXL and @jmarso for the reviews, glad you enjoyed the campaign! Did you send your proofs of purchase for the WinWing draw? If you are OK with that, I'll post the reviews and add them to my website.

As for lack of A-A, I think it is quite realistic (though I also know FaF used to train exclusively to that, but AFAIK it has changed recently, saw some posts by them on Twitter about using GBUs?). Realistic, because after two years of war in Ukraine and heavy losses, Russia does not have that much air power and would definitely hesitant to use it in full (remaining) strength against NATO, knowing all well how it would end.. which we tried to simulate. Looking forward to more reviews!

Dear friends,

I have finished the campaign and I would like to say that this is the best campaign I flied ever.  I love the procedures to take off and landing, realistic comms and the inmersive environment.  I also like the operation in the runway and the terrain.

I agree with other people...i missed more Air-to-air activity and for sure, more missions inside the campaign and some air refueling to stay more time in the JOA if needed.

Summarizing, I looking forward to have more campaigns from Baltic Dragon team, following the steps of this one.  Congratulations team!! Well done.

Great campaign. 10/10. Mission design and radio chatter are top-notch. The only thing that disappointed me was that such a formidable opponent like Russia was portrayed as powerless. And I don’t understand why launch systems with a 12,000-kilometer range were brought to the border.

If you look at how they fare in Ukraine, I don't think you can call them a "formidable opponent". The Ukrainian Air Force is still flying and I think this campaign quite realistically shows what would happen if Russia tried to take on NATO forces (and I based it on conversations with several active duty USAF and USN pilots). I think I heard in one of Jell-o's podcast a F-35 driver saying he needs around 10 US F-16s against him to feel some kind of thrill when fighting BVR. Imagine how many MiGs it would take...

Thanks for the review & glad you enjoyed it!

I absolutely don't want to argue about comparing weapons, and even less so about what's happening in Ukraine. I was just sharing my feelings. In any case, the company is great.
