Hello Yoda

I got LEAVU2 working great on my second monitor and wanted to thank you for a great product. I would like to know how it is possible to set it up on my monitor (21inch) 2 MFD's, 1 for HSI and the other for my TEW's. I am not sure how to do that, do I go to "instruments" click loF15hud 2 times and crop or something? thanks mate.

I dont have an HSI, only an mfd HSD page,

but yes, just click add two times.

my bad meant to say HSD, do I open 2 MFD's then drag them to my second monitor, then size them to fit both on my monitor by clicking the corners and stretching them?

A video of my setup. This software rocks!

Thanks for the video once again :)!

I updated the software yesterday, so those who havent done it already

it can be a good thing to do so now.

- Fixed a bug where HSD showed TWS info even when radar was in RWS mode

- The new version is not compatible with teh old over datalink

use the same download links as always

Updated it again, much more efficient network code now for sim data. This second update is backwards compatible so you

dont need to change it if you have no problems. It was meant to adress some problems that wireless users have reported.

This doesnt affect dlink transmissions, which are already quite fast

Just LEAVU and contents of config correct? no dll's or the others?

Just the Leavu zip.

Don't forget to apply the compatibility for eri/leavu.

I may make this automatic later

That's right, no dll change.

I will wait a while before releasing any new updates for leavu/eri.

Need to make the installation easier and provide less options.

Also going to introduce version numbers in the next release.

it sure looks like Samsung U70 or Lilliput UM70. I may be wrong :)

Yes you are right, they are samsung U70s.They fit quite good behind the Cougar MFD frames.Only on the top side, they come out a little low,but that's not really an issue to me.The pic shows what I mean.

hope this helps for you to make a decision

Thanks guys for the info!

Its just very hard to find a source around here, well we will see!

Edit...found them on ebay!

So can you give me some infos about how to setup? Is it possible to use it also as shkval in BS with the normal multimonitor setup?

Do you run win7 64 bit?

Which drivers for the U70?

and on and on??? :-)

Thanks

the drivers for the U70 I use are from Displaylink. You can find them on this site:http://www.displaylink.com/support/index.php

I run win7 64bit.

I use Xpadder to bind the key input of LEAVU to the Cougar MFD pack.

It is possible to use the U70 as shkval in Black Shark, check out this thread:

Hi Yoda,

First of all, thanks for developing and releasing this application

Then, I'm sorry to say, but I have some problems. I've downloaded Leavu.zip and followed your instructions as per readme file. On the first run I was able to add all three instruments. Now, I'm not sure about starting procedure, so I started FC2 and then clicked Connect Sim. Nothing happened, button only changed into Connecting to sim... and stayed like that while I was flying in F-15 (singleplayer, instant mission only). None of the instruments were working. I started LEAVU on the same PC and monitor as FC2, then I moved instruments to second monitor (of a smaller resolution).

On the second run I was not able to add any instrument. They simply wouldn't show up on the screen.

Java seems to be installed OK.

Do you need any further info?

Renato, there are a couple things to check:

First confirm that the LUA is running. Jump into an eagle, go narrow azimuth and move the cursor around, see if it slews your radar scan zone.

If that's running, then you may have a network problem.

Firewall

Putting in the wrong IP

Other

If the LUA is not working ... do you maybe have another FC2 install on the same computer and you're running the wrong one?

LUA should be running OK. I got tacview working fine, if that is of any clue to this problem.

But, I've checked in F-15. Cursor is not moving scan zone, I have to move scan zone manualy. (I didn't knew that you can move scan zone with cursor in the first place.)

Firewall should not be a problem, I suppose, no problem in MP.

For IP, and other settings, I left as deliverd in zip, meaning localhost in LEAVU window. But, I've noticed that netSec.lua has "*" instead of localhost. I've tried *, lh, local IP....

Other... dunno :D

FC2 english download version over english LOMAC, on fresh install of 64-bit w2k3. Running in fullscreen. No known issues with any other prog/app.

I did not alter any keycommand in FC2, instead I use Saitek profiler for Cyborg Evo and X52pro (simultaneously, cos I got X52 with defective stick, but OK throttle; no problems in any other a/c).

Also, Export.lua calls for Yoda_Export.lua, which is not in zip package, but I've copied it from Yoda Export.zip. Still, not working with or without. And, regardless to tacview script.

I have no other modes or LUA scripts installed, apart from tacview and some graphic tweaking as described in Yoda's post in another topic.

Of note, I forgot to mention in previous post, on first run when instruments appeared and after I moved them to second monitor, they flickered when exiting the mission. Did not flicker when entering mission.

Renato, the LUA that controls LEAVU is not running (although it isn't quite the same code, it also happens to run the part that slews your scan zone around).

Obviously I can't diagnose the reason, but that's where you need to look.

Shouldn't it be enough to delete/comment dofile line in export.lua? I did both before asking here :(

One more thing. Theres a file Everything.zip - there you have Config.lua where EnableExportScript = false ?

This setting will not affect anything in SP.

Take everything in the everything.zip and copy it into your export folder.

Just back up your export.lua first, and then replace it with the one from everything.zip - see if everything runs when you do that.

And yes, commenting/uncommenting stuff should theoretically work, but without seeing it all I can't tell:)

PS - Besides, whats that got to do with me not being able to start any instrument any more?

Further note: I've installed 32bit JRE before starting LOME. Just now, when instruments stopped to appear, I've treid with 64bit and left 32 bit dll's. Then I used 64bit dll'd. No go in both cases.

And, Everything.zip contains two more files then leavu.zip: lua_keys.dll and lua_keys_win7.dll.

PPS - tested my java install online:

Your Java configuration is as follows:

Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.

Version: Java 6 Update 19

Operating System: Windows 2003 5.2

Architecture: x86

the last one is strange....

I'll go reinstall java...

Ah .. sorry, I didn't realize it was just instruments not starting up - I thought you were saying it wasn't connecting to your sim at all.

Take contents of LEAVU folder Config and place in Export folder along with folder content of LEAVU+ERI

Take contents of Yoda Export and place in Export folder

Take contents of ERI radar and place in Export folder

Take DLL's from LEAVU folder jre32 and place in WINDOWS 32 folder

Take JAVA and SOUNDS folder's from LEAVU and place in c/programs folder IN a folder called LEAVU

Then go to c/programs and open up your LEAVU folder, click on JAVA, click on LEAVU2 executable jar file.

click on Instruments, click on lof15mfd (top one), click add, click Connect Sim

Start FC2.0 and it will work when enter F15 and fly.
