Flappie Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Have you tried getting rid of Process Lasso? 2025-03-21 16:15:58.553 WARNING APP (Main): ProcessLasso is running ---
AJaromir Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 After the first attemp it looks like it would be fixed. Tried to load in I-16 in multiplayer and there was just a very short freeze. Time will tell more.

I managed to reproduce it while hosting a very simple mission, but I lost the dcs.log. Today I’ll try to reproduce the issue again and provide the log file here. Edited March 24 by miguelaco
miguelaco Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Here we are, a new dcs.log and nearly same result. ... 2025-03-24 09:03:21.849 INFO ASYNCNET (Main): Current ping: 13.4ms 2025-03-24 09:04:40.306 INFO EDCORE (Main): Loaded D:/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/aircraft/FA-18C/bin/FA18C.dll ... This time it took nearly 1 minute and 20 seconds to select an empty slot. @Flappie is there a way to make the log more verbose and hopefully get a hint on what's going on here? It is really strange since it only happens the first time and the game runs smoothly once in the cockpit. I tried a full rebuild several times and it didn't do the trick, next thing is a complete reinstall, but I would really like to know what's the cause of the issue, if possible. dcs.log Edited March 24 by miguelaco

miguelaco Posted March 24 Posted March 24 New dcs.log with verbose logging enabled: ... 2025-03-24 09:41:13.598 DEBUG LuaGUI (Main): ---setSlot--- 2 284 2025-03-24 09:45:01.592 INFO EDCORE (Main): Loaded D:/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/aircraft/FA-18C/bin/FA18C.dll 2025-03-24 09:45:01.593 INFO WorldPlugIns (Main): loading "F/A-18C": 227.995 ... Huge gap in the log (nearly 4 mins) and no additional info, but maybe I missed something. dcs.log
Flappie Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I was almost certain there wouldn't be anything else in the log at this moment, but it's a good thing you tried the full debug log. This looks exactly like the same issue which was (apparently) fixed for most of us. You should open a support ticket: Log into DCS website Click "Support" Click "Create a new ticket" 1 ---
AJaromir Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 I would like to say the freeze is still there. But now it is less than 30 seconds. It was like 5-10 minutes before.
miguelaco Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I managed to solve it somehow. I remebered I made some changes to the BIOS settings a few weeks ago, rolled them back and now I'm getting less than 20 seconds in the first mission load. I'll try to narrow down the exact setting when I have some time to test since I changed more than one. 1

The present thread was about very long loading times due to modules DLL files. Your issue is completely different. You should read this thread and post your issue if you can't find the solution: 1 ---
