Normally it'd be killed or deterred in BVR. That does not mean the AI does not need improvements though. Hog_driver Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 You know, I like the F-15 but it doesn't mean that I wanted to see it win all fights, just to feel good. I wanted to see how the AI manages turns, speed and other maneuvers and maybe learn something from it. Let's say I wasn't impressed. I hope it'll be improved... in the future.

If you only have guns and the enemy runs away jinking and avoiding clear shot there is no way to reliably get a hit, unless you're faster and get really close. Right. The problem is that the enemy wasn't jinking all the time, and the Eagle got "really close". It even overshot the MiG several times.
