Hi,

During TO, Jester always says:" you are way too fast". Why? I've tried TO from brakes, without, buster slowly then gate and...always this warning.

one more little thing too: when i splash a bandit ( say Su25), the bandit is splashed and Jester always calls for the Bandit BRAA...

Thx

Perhaps you are too fast? Have you trimmed the aircraft correctly? Are you holding the stick full aft until the aircraft takes off on its own?

What is your procedure, at which speed are you airborne?

Not sure what you mean regarding the SU. A track would be nice :)

Jester can’t tell the difference between a dead but falling aircraft and a live one so he will continue call-outs until the aircraft crashes into the ground.
Well, its complicated. There is a lifepoint threshold at which he will consider an aircraft to be done, report it as dead and ignore it in his logic.

If you make it too low you will have enemies that are burning to the ground but still considered a threat. If you make it too high you will have Jester ignore someone on fire who is still flying around shooting missiles at you, being unable to attack them back since Jester ignores them.

We have to work with what the DCS engine offers to us. Unfortunately, that isn't much when its about the combat status of another aircraft.

Hopefully that changes when we finally get the new damage model for jets.

Yes i am correctly trimmed, my stick is held back yes. Sometimes but rarely jester does not say nothing but must of the time i have this annoying sentence. But all in all it is a minor annoyance cause this F4E is a gem.

Jester thinks many runways are taxiways and starts in with the stupid inanity during takeoff.

Try a different runway.

There are some runways that aren’t configured properly, so the game considers the runway threshold to be part of the taxi way, that’s why jester freaks out, as far as he knows you’re still on a taxi way.

Try a different runway or start your takeoff run a little further down.
