Keith Briscoe Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I have the orion 2 - F15ex throttle/grip combo. It's great. However, a key issue I have not yet overcome is upward "drift" from the hat located under our left middle finger, I assume commonly used for radar/hsd cursor (f16) and TDC (f18) control. I've added larger and larger dead zones with DCS and tried adjusting the curve. These only help temporarily. I've checked in simappro and it seems like values are holding. But, I wonder if there is some sort of overall calibration for that hat/button. Appreciate any suggestions.
Dunska Posted January 24 Posted January 24 No for me. TDC holds steady. Maybe something else mapped to TDC as well?
Keith Briscoe Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 unfortunately, no nothing else mapped to that stick/input.

Does it still drift afterwards? If so, you may want to delete the whole set of bindings of that device (on top of its column). Restart DCS and rebind the keys.
rob10 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Never had drift with WW. Did with old TM setup. Maybe try some compressed air and see if you can blow it out.
The_Nephilim Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) is another usb Hotas/device mapped to that axis of the EX\s TDC?? I have Saitek rudder pedals and they always get assigned to the X&Y Axis of my HOTAS and it causes drift? m0zz Posted January 26 Posted January 26 It happened to me a while back. Recalibrating in simapp pro fixed it.
