BammBamm Posted Friday at 02:11 PM Posted Friday at 02:11 PM Well, it’s moot now since this last update broke landing on the carrier and won’t be fixed for quite some time. ”fixed internally for next update” I have to seriously wonder if any testing is performed at all before updates are released. It’s been a running joke for quite some time that they add a feature and break 10 others. sorry for the sarcasm, but come on, it takes 5 minutes to test something like this. 3
Micr0 Posted Friday at 08:51 PM Posted Friday at 08:51 PM It broke landing??? Wtf? I haven't updated in about 6 months.

As long as you call inbound to the carrier it's not broken. If you don't, then yes you can get a CTD on landing with current build. And that's why the "5 minutes" of testing probably didn't catch this. I automatically called in when I was testing after seeing reports of this and I had no problem landing. Until someone figured out this was cause I couldn't recreate it. Once I stopped calling in then I could reproduce it. Edited Friday at 09:15 PM by rob10 1

In other words, if you have a multiplayer wing and 12 players coming in to land, if the first one calls in, can everyone land without a crash or does every flight have to call in independently?

No idea. When I was testing it was just me. My guess would be at least the lead for each flight, but possibly each aircraft.
BammBamm Posted Saturday at 07:24 PM Posted Saturday at 07:24 PM We just tested it. Every person has to call inbound. It can’t just be a flight lead, everyone in his group must call in individually to prevent CTD
draconus Posted Sunday at 08:05 AM Posted Sunday at 08:05 AM Call inbound then and please leave this thread alone, cause it's about IFLOLS visibility, mind you. 2 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
