Mission 3 - frustrating experience

The campaign has started really promisingly. The first attack mission at night worked as a charm and I was really looking forward to the next one.
I start, take off get to the bishop fine, tally the convoy and decide to take it out myself while 2 takes high cover. Mission tells me not to use -12s. Fine, mav away, one vehicle down. Wingman states the obvious (vehicle destroyed) and then silence. I’m circling the area - no idea what to do next. Alright, I guess, I need to finish the convoy. But how do I do that? I’m told to not use gbus, I’m out of Mav, hard deck is 18000 msl according to briefing. What do I do? I chose the least dangerous solution - drop the 12s, finish convoy, wingman tells all clear - good.
Then I contact ghost which guess what? Tells me to put my GBU 12 which I don’t have anymore on a tank.
What’s the course of action? Close DCS and go eat as there’s no way anymore to finish the mission.

My suggestion would be to either add new voiceover where 1 runs in with guns (as as far as I understand, that’s the expected course of action) and justify somehow breaking the hard deck or at least put it next to the message telling not to use the bombs.

@Rmnsvn that is a good point regarding the hard deck and looks like my oversight. Looking back I really regret adding the option here at all, as it caused a lot of trouble for players (like this one). I might just remove that option and play with the "both planes" attack scenario. I'll think how to tackle this, thanks for the report.
