Nialfb Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) Hi guys I have a mission for the A-10C that includes a CTLD JTAC called Hawkeye1 (ctld.JTACAutoLase('Hawkeye1', 1688, false,"all"), and it has been working fine, until the recent updates. The JTAC designates the targets just fine, but now there is no lase line in the TGP. Any ideas, about the missing lase line? Many thanks Nial A-10C & FA-18C JTAC Mission - Sochi-Adler.miz Edited February 9 by Nialfb Game setup - I9-13900K, 3000 MHz 24 Core 32 Logical Processors, NVIDIA RTX 4090, 42” ASUS 4K OLED monitor, TM HOTAS Warthog, TM TPR Rudder pedals, Bigscreen Beyond VR.
Solution Flappie Posted February 9 Solution Posted February 9 I can't open your .miz file because of mods. AFAIK: IR markers : TGPs are not supposed to show IR markers. There used to be a bug in DCS and it was fixed in December. However, you should be able to see IR makers when wearing NVGs. Lasers : One cannot visualize lasers, even through NVGs. Only aircraft systems "see" where a laser points at ("LST", Laser Spot Tracker), but they won't draw any "light ray". ---
Nialfb Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Thanks Flappie. That's strange because I used to be able to see the laser track via the TGP as it helped me locate smaller targets such as Shilkas. Anyway, if I interpret your response correctly, my mission is working as expected - the tagets are designated by the JTAC. Thanks again. rhinofilms Posted March 25 Posted March 25 That's a bummer because it was fun using the predator lase line and NVG to find targets.
