MGRS 1km grid square on Caucasus map have disappeared in the latest update. Is there a reason for this?

It didn't. You can select any grid here in the F10 map:

And in the Mission Editor, click the Key icon and voilà:

A comparison between ver.2.9.9.2474 and ver.2.9.12.5336 (the current version) as follows.

My mistake, it did. I'll check with devs whether it's intentional (I doubt it is).

Is Caucasus the only affected terrain?

(all terrains are affected apparently)

Persian Gulf is affected too.

 

Syria is OK.

Syria is OK, but strangely, maps have very inconsistent grids and their colors. In Caucasus this grid is blue, in Syria it's black. Then there is LL grid that is black in Caucasus - and in Syria it toggles country borders instead.
