Ohman! When the german patch will come?! I want to release my missions!

 

All missions are prepered for the patch! After all I worked 25-30 hours for all changes.

 

Changes: (will come after german patch)

 

 

Attack on Krymsk (Angriff auf Flugfeld) 4 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- New upgraded FARP

- Dangerous SAM at the airport

- New messages for more information about the battlefield

- Smoke signal at the own units in the battlefield

 

 

Convoyhunting 8 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- New upgraded FARPs

- 8 player instead of 4 player

- Weaponfactory at the end of the convoy's route

- Many randomly triggered enemys

- Smoke signal at the own units in the battlefield

 

 

The Dam (Der Damm) 8 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- New upgraded FARPs

- 8 player instead of 4 player

- Many randomly triggered enemys

- New messages for more information about the battlefield

 

VIP 4 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- Some little changes

 

 

Outpost 8 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- 8 player instead of 4 player

- Better timing of the enemys

- Smoke signal at all outposts

 

 

Operation Pushback 8 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- New upgraded FARPs

- 8 player instead of 4 player

- Many randomly triggered enemys

 

 

NightHawkHunter 8 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- New upgraded FARPs

- 8 player instead of 4 player

- Smoke signal at the own units in the battlefield

- Dangerous SAM at the airport and enemy FARP

 

 

HINDnapping 4 player

- English and german briefing and messages

- New upgraded FARPs

 

 

Defense of Batumi (Verteidigung von Flugfeld) 8 player

- Better ground defense of the airfield

- Dangerous SAM at the Artillerie

Looks great Dragon, im really looking forward to having another crack at NightHawk :)

 

ps- Whats the ETA on the German patch? I thought the recent patch was an international type thing?

The ETA is not known....

No the patch 1.0.1.a was only for the russian and english version.

With a slight chance of going a hint off topic I'd just like to mention that first of all a swedish DCS BS would be very strange indeed, and second that it would be economical disaster spending time doing a translations for such a small market. On top of that I'd like to add that i disagree with your standing on english being a superior language =p Nothing's more lagom than swedish ;)

 

On topic I'd love to see your missions in english Dragon!

...EtherealN you'r right... and now the whole world have to suffer because of my mistake... only because of my german version the whole world have to wait for my missionpack.... sorry for that. :P

I wouldnt say we are suffering, Im actually sitting here drinking a beer. If I were trully suffering I guess I'd have no beer and be watching somebody else drinking one. So im guessing thats what your feeling, and the real reason why you wont release the mission pack. We have beer and you dont ;)

 

Come on Dragon, we all know Germans like beer. So why not share that pack like a long cold glass of pale ale :thumbup:

There are for 1.0.1 version? (In Spain will be the bs 'freezed'.. well now it's freezed yet)

The missionpack which you can download now was build in V1.0. but should work with V1.0.1.... The missions freezed your BS?

I actually have to wait for the german patch before I can release the new version of the missionpack because I want to implement some new features like e.g. smoke signals.

The new farp looks great!

Had flown recently the mission "The Dam" on the UFS server, wow what a huge amount of enemy`s there, but we beat the mission. Looking forward how you implement the new triggers...:)

Especially at "The Dam" I have implemented a lot of random enemys into the city. (in the upcoming version)

I think you can fly this mission 3-4 times without seeing every enemy.

This system is easy and very logic, though I would add this to the briefing. Also Wags have this in his mission briefing...;)

What you think about a note in the briefing and mission description, that you are using triggers and what must be done to activate it(i.e. only Number1 helo can activate it) (...or something important like this)? Have seen this on missions running on Quirks server...

This would remove the realistic look of the missions.

The briefings are very detailed. If you follow the instructions the triggers will be activated one by one. :smilewink:

By the way... Sometimes I have more than 60 triggers in a mission. This would be a looooooong briefing.

Because you can quit the mission right at the beginning, when #1 crashes at take-off accidently for example.

 

If the triggers can be activated by all pilots: no problem at all and not necessary to note something about that in the briefing.

All Triggers can be activated by everyone because the triggers are very important for the "story" of the mission.

That's why I have done some "foresight" that no one leave the route. ;)

The triggers not even activate units.

Many triggers set flags for messages, smoke signals etc.

 

There is only one mission named "Outpost" in what not everyone can trigger the units.

Situation:

There are 4 Outposts named "Alpha", "Beta", "Charly" and "Delta". (Shown in the briefingpicture)

There are 4 waves of enemys for each outpost.

The Ka-50 are named:

Ka-50 #1.1 - Alpha

Ka-50 #1.2 - Alpha

Ka-50 #1.3 - Beta

Ka-50 #1.4 - Beta

Ka-50 #2.1 - Charly

Ka-50 #2.2 - Charly

Ka-50 #2.3 - Delta

Ka-50 #2.4 - Delta

 

So it should be clear how ka-50 can trigger which wave. ;)
