Osiris666 Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Hi Sorry for the Delay, This is the latest logs - Flying a plane at high altitude . If I disable the Tobii and use the hat to move around everything is smooth dcs.log
Pillowcat Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Btw, as you mentioned X4, there in beta update logs it has such line: Maybe this can fuel some ideas of how to detour the issue, or not, never used eyetrackers 1

I also reduced the setting to the minimum and this had no effect. @Osiris666 I recall a few times in the past getting a strange stutter/strobe effect with my Tobii in DCS. I usually just quit DCS and after restarting DCS all was fine. Try this: Use the Tobii Enable/Disable hotkey that temporarily enables/disables camera control - Setting is in GameHub options for DCS. Use a framerate limiter to cap DCS FPS to 60, 72 or 144Hz to see if there is any change. Are you using Camera Boost? Try it on or off. Make sure you are running latest version of Tobii Experience and GameHub. Is latest version of headtracker.dll in the correct dcs/bin folder? I assume you are running from bin since bin and bin-mt are the same now. If you are using a custom Tobii DCS profile trying going back to the Default or install the Tobii Recommended Profile found on their DCS World >> DCS_6DOF.ghubprofile Document Do not own: | F-15E | JF-17 | Fw 190 A-8 | Bf 109 | Hardware: [ - Ryzen7-5800X - 64GB - RX 6800 - X56 HOTAS Throttle - WINWING Orion 2 F16EX Grip - TrackIR 5 - Tobii 5C - JetPad FSE - ]

Are you using Camera Boost? Try it on or off. - Tried both - no difference Make sure you are running latest version of Tobii Experience and GameHub. - Re installed the new version Is latest version of headtracker.dll in the correct dcs/bin folder? I assume you are running from bin since bin and bin-mt are the same now. - Its in the location If you are using a custom Tobii DCS profile trying going back to the Default or install the Tobii Recommended Profile found on their DCS World >> DCS_6DOF.ghubprofile Document I will try #11 Thanks so far with your help
Solution Osiris666 Posted May 7 Author Solution Posted May 7 Update: After trying just about everything to get it the Tobii working with DCS - I decided to use the FacetrackNoIR with the tobii tracker and it worked perfectly - So it must be a software issue with the Tobii game hub.
450Devil Posted May 8 Posted May 8 (edited) Hi Osiris66 When I use Tobii ET5 while flying the F-18 Hornet I cannot get the HMD to completely turn with my head movement. For example, if I turn my head as far as I can to the right (looking 90 degrees), the HMD display does not go any further than about 50 degrees of movement. It is not so bad in the Apache (IHADSS) but still somewhat restricted in its range of head movement. Does the HMD display in the F-18 track correctly follow your head movement when using Tobii ET5 with FacetrackNoIR? Attached screenshot gives an example of the issue with Tobii and the F-18 HMD. I do not have this issue with TrackIR as the HMD stays in the center of my vision. However, I like Tobii as it is wireless. Edited May 8 by 450Devil
Osiris666 Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 Hi 450Devil , The head tracker is quite good using the (tobii) FaceTrackNoIR - It moves basically to the position i am moving my head too - I disabled the Z -axis as i i to zoom using the joystick wheel . If I move the head to the side I can see behind the seat 1
