Grubenstein Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Hi all, Is there a way to install dcs 2.9.10.4160 from scratch, Tried reverting from a later install but the performance wasnt as good as what it was last year on this version. Not sure whether some of the later features or settings are left behing by the revert but definately not a smooth as before. Look forward to hearing any advise from the knowledge base Thanks Grubes
Darth Holliday Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Every-time I did a re-install (Its been a few) with DCS or MSFS I re-installed Win-11 completely where all the date was erased..May have been overkill, but wanted total clean without any residue in the registry or anywhere else from anything left over..I only use my computer for flight simming and nothing else (Corsair) so it makes it easy(er)..(I prefer a Mac for anything else) ..I did/do not have many mods. I did have all the binding saved to another drive within the computer (D:/)..I know probably not much help...

DCS_updater.exe update 2.9.10.4160@openbeta this needs to match your environment!! also look here @SkateZilla provides a utility that can do this in GUI fashion. BJ55 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 The question here is how to install an older version from scratch, the DCS_World_web.exe can be run with command lines? I7-12700F, 64GB DDR4 XMP1 3000MHz, Asus Z670M, MSI RTX 3070 2560x1440 60Hz, TIR 5, TM WH VPC base, TM rudder, Win10 Pro
Art-J Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) I don't think it can. The easier way would be just to install absolute minimum package (even without Caucasus now that we can exclude it) of the latest version and then use updater to roll back to the older one.
