F-16 Pilot Posted Saturday at 07:36 AM Posted Saturday at 07:36 AM So I mostly play MSFS but have been getting a little more familiar with DCS. I have a simple all-in-one joystick/throttle, but I wanted to get a separate throttle that mimics a real jet more. I also want to get some brackets so I can attach the joystick and throttle lower down at a more natural height instead of just sitting on my desk. I have seen a few options on Amazon, but I'm not sure which one is the best. I just want to make sure whatever I get feels sturdy and is of good quality. Any advice

SharpeXB Posted Saturday at 03:41 PM Posted Saturday at 03:41 PM Monstertech is very nice. TimberWolf Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago You can probably build a stand yourself out of 2x4s or something similar. May not be as versatile as a Monstertech, but likely would be a lot cheaper. Sim Rig: Intel 12700KF, MSI RTX4090, 32GB DDR4@3200, Quest 3 headset, TM Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswind pedals

Do you know if they will work with this joystick? The base is a litte on the large size and now sure how it connects to the bracket. https://eshop.thrustmaster.com/en_us/t-flight-stick-x.html
speed-of-heat Posted 25 minutes ago Posted 25 minutes ago (edited) honestly even if they did i wouldn't put a 130 dollar mounting solution with a 50$ joystick, its not worth it... if you have a total of 180$ i'd get a 180 dollar stick and live with it on the table for now Edited 19 minutes ago by speed-of-heat SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat

I'm going to use this just for the joystick for now, but was looking at getting a seperate VKB throttle to add to the realism when flying. Plus, it has more buttons to help make things like targeting easier. https://eshop.thrustmaster.com/en_us/t-flight-stick-x.html
