SalakauHeadman Posted Friday at 10:08 AM Posted Friday at 10:08 AM (edited) Ok how isit even possible that my old pc can run dcs on an average of 50-100 fps with outdated specs (eg. RTX 2060 SUPER) but i bought a new pc with EVERY SINGLE DAMN PART UPGRADED and i carried over the EXACT SAME GRAPHIC SETTINGS and somehow EVEN ON THE MODEL DISPLAY SCREEN IN MISSION EDITOR MY GAME IS RUNNING AT 30 FPS???????? launched the mission and it is running at an abysmall 4FPS?????????????????????????????????????? NO IDEA WHAT IS CAUSING IT!!!!!!!! ISIT WINDOWS 11? my old pc was on windows 10, never had this issue until using this new pc, i really at my wits end can someone pls help edit: i also want to ask isit something to do with the refresh rate settings in the display settings for windows? because i know my old pc is able to run stuff at 144fps and i have a 144hz monitor but windows 11 i dont see option to go beyond 75hz for refresh rate settings... speed-of-heat Posted Friday at 10:43 AM Posted Friday at 10:43 AM (edited) well currently it is not using the Graphics card but the internal GPU in the CPU ... so i would make sure the monitor is plugged into the right hole in the GPU, and i would turn off the internal AMD CPU's GPU in BIOS... and see where that takes you... I wouild also recommend Options to optimize gaming performance in Windows 11 - Microsoft Support always this to begin with and make sure your motherboard drivers and firmware are up to date Edited Friday at 11:17 AM by speed-of-heat 1 1 SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted Friday at 11:07 AM ED Team Posted Friday at 11:07 AM make sure the cable from the monitor is plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard. Check the caps lock key on your keyboard also, seems to be sticking 3 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Despayre Posted Friday at 03:11 PM Posted Friday at 03:11 PM Apparently still working on the caps-lock issue though... I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too.
