Fixing TPR onto the carpet floor

Originally, the TPR leant on the computer table, but now I have it away, and find there is nothing to support it any more. I don't want to drill it too hard into the carpet floor in case I want to move it in the future. Any idea?

Perhaps get a piece of wood and use a bit like this to make shallow holes in the bottom so the wood doesn't slide on the carpet as easily? https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006877486507.html

And then fix the TPR to the wood.
